Every album has a story. The design of an album illustrates this story visually. Each design is intended to take the band’s vision and create the visual counterpart. The art direction must use the passion from the collection of songs and depict the emotion of the record.

Album Cover Design

Policulture's debut album "The Bridge" was released in August of 2014. This design is intended to illustrate the band's overall story behind the title "The Bridge." This album was a compilation of 5 years of the band's growth. Throughout these years the band expanded their knowledge of music, friendship, and mores. They developed their own unique sound in contemporary reggae music and thrived in the passion for the art form of music. This album represented their transition into the field of professional reggae musicians. Passing through the threshold into a world of passion for a positive message and unique art form of music.

Movement Dub was recorded during a live performance at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO. A constant evolution of improvisation created this song. Almost like a burst of flame.

Here is an album design I completed for a client that fell-through. Had a blast researching old greek gods and statues around the world though!

I was able to collaborate with one of my all-time favorite artist, Travis Parr of Icelantic Skis and Parr Studios, on the packaging design for my band, Policulture's, most recent album release! So proud of how this design turned out!
